WFU has acquired many software packages for professors, staff, and students to use. The different software packages are made available on software.wfu.edu. To access the software packages:

1. Visit software.wfu.edu
2. Sign in by clicking on Sign in in the upper right corner
3. Click on the appropriate affiliation on the left-hand side
4. Click on the software package, and follow the instructions to download and install.

Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe Creative Cloud allows the user to download and/or access online Adobe software. Including:

• Adobe Acrobat – for viewing and editing pdf files
• Adobe Scan – used to allow your cell phone to take pictures and convert them to pdf. Please see this post from Jeff Muday for additional information – Document Via Cell Phone
• Adobe Photoshop – used to edit and create pictures
• Adobe Premiere Pro – Software to edit and create movies

Ditto

Ditto allows a PC running Microsoft Windows to connect wirelessly to many of the multimedia systems in our classrooms. Once the software is installed, you can connect your PC to the AppleTV if the room is equipped, for wireless presentation.

Dropbox 

Wake Forest has a business subscription to Dropbox which allows the Wake Forest Community to convert their personal subscriptions to an unlimited business subscription. Increasing the usability of the Dropbox service and saving the cost of an individual subscription

Office 365

The Microsoft Office Suite is available to download to your computer and online from office365.com. Faculty and staff are allowed to download Microsoft Office to 5 computers authenticated by their WFU credentials. Faculty and staff also have full access to Office365 online which allows them to work and save their work directly in their Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage.
