Your Instructional Technologist
Your assigned ITG member is always a great first step. They often know the answer to your question or know where you can get the answer. The ITG website and blog is also a rich resource that is updated on a regular basis.
The CAT
The Center for the Advancement of Teaching is a tremendous resource for WFU faculty. They offer a dedicated staff and great resources, all with the aim of helping to improve your teaching.
Information Systems
AskDeac is the Service Desk site. Sign in here to submit a ticket when you have a problem. Alternatively, you can also find the chat option and the phone number, if you want to speak with a WFU Service Desk staff member. Additionally, you can search the Knowledge Base for solutions to common problems and check the status of various technical infrastructure systems. Finally, the IS Department’s website provides another valuable resource for information on various WFU provided tools and technologies.

Or log into Canvas, click the “?” at the bottom of the black menu on the left of your screen, click the Chat link.
Qualtrics 24/7 Support
- Go to the Qualtrics Support Portal
- Leave Username and Password fields blank. Click Sign in with SSO.
- In the Organization ID field, enter “wakeforest” without quotation marks
- Enter you WFU credentials
- Click Get Technical Support
- Choose the “Survey Platform & XM directory” product
- Click your choice of Live Chat, Phone Call or Email support
Kaltura’s FAQs and Knowledge Center
Kaltura provides an extensive FAQ page and Knowledge Center that offers written instructions and video tutorials. The FAQ is also accessible in the main menu of your Wake Forest media space. The User Guides and Technical Documentation link is located at the bottom of the page.
