Lynda.com
Are you interested in learning Photoshop? Have something you need to do in Excel, but not sure how? All Wake Forest University faculty, staff, and students have access to Lynda.com – a robust website database of self-paced courses on technology tools and many other subjects including business, arts, music and science.
Access
If you are logged into your e-mail you can go to lynda.wfu.edu and you will be redirected to the site. You can also click on the grid for Google Apps within e-mail and select Lynda.com from the list of tools that are now integrated with your google account.
How to get started
- You can search in the search bar
- Browse by category
- Once you watch a few videos Lynda.com will come up with suggested videos you might like
- Choose a learning path-a sequence of videos that creates a comprehensive curriculum for a particular topic
The course videos all have follow-along transcripts and many have practice tools and materials that you can download and use while following along with the course.
You can create playlists and save courses for later viewing
