Bio

Instructional Technologist: Empowering Education through Technology

As the Instructional Technologist for the Departments of Communication, East Asian Languages and Cultures, and Debate, I have dedicated over two decades to supporting educational technologies across various academic departments at WFU. Throughout my career, I have acquired an extensive array of certifications, training certificates, accreditations, and degrees in technology from renowned institutions such as Microsoft and Adobe. Additionally, I hold a master’s degree in Educational Media and Design, further solidifying my expertise in the field.

My role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including proficiency in video graphics, music, lighting, programming, VR/AR, and the exploration of emerging technologies. I am passionate about staying at the forefront of technological advancements, ensuring that the educational institutions I serve can leverage the latest innovations to enhance the learning experience.

When I’m not immersed in the world of technology, I find solace in indulging in my personal interests, such as watching Sci-Fi or Marvel movies, engaging in crafting activities, gaming, playing or listening to music, and spending quality time with my beloved pets. These activities not only provide me with a sense of relaxation but also inspire me to continue innovating and pushing the boundaries of educational technology.
