Qualtrics ( http://qualtrics.wfu.edu )
Qualtrics is an online research and data collection tool licensed by the University and available to all faculty, staff and students on the Reynolda Campus. It is both extremely powerful in its features and extremely easy to use and learn. Qualtrics is completely web-based and we have single sign-on implemented for it. You simply go to http://qualtrics.wfu.edu and signon with your WFU credentials to create your account or utilize your existing account. If you have never logged on before, you will be asked to provide your first and last name, your email address, and indicate whether you are faculty, staff or student.
The Instructional Technology Group conducts classes at several levels through the Professional Development Center (Click Here for upcoming class listing). The help resources at the Qualtrics website are also very good. You can also get help for general training or specific topics through Qualtrics University. Sakai ( http://sakai.wfu.edu )
Sakai is the Learning Management System that has been implemented at Wake Forest University. Sakai is a free and open source online Collaboration and Learning Environment implemented at Wake Forest University. Many users of Sakai deploy it to support teaching and learning, ad hoc group collaboration, support for portfolios and research collaboration. Any class or classes you teach can have a Sakai course associated with them.

VoiceThread (http://wfu.voicethread.com/)
Voicethread is web based software that allows you to have an online conversation around multimedia. You can present slides, video, or images, narrate them using text, audio, or webcam, and then invite others to view and comment within the presentation. WFU provides all students, faculty, and staff with Voicethread accounts. MORE

Is the place where you get your academic information, submit grades, and perform other administrative activities. MORE
WebEx ( http://webex.wfu.edu )
WebEx is a virtual online meeting space where people can connect from anywhere there is an internet connection. WFU WebEx can be used by faculty, students and staff to host meetings, interactive training sessions, support sessions and events for large audiences. Anybody with an internet connection can attend a WebEx meeting or event with just a browser and either a microphone or telephone. They do not have to be affiliated with WFU.
